Which dimout fabric is best for hotel rooms?

Dimout, 99% Dimout, Linen-Look and Double-Sided: which one suits a hotel room? A comparison by weight, width and colours.

Which dimout fabric is best for hotel rooms?

A hotel room curtain has one job: keep the room dark whenever the guest wants to sleep. But every hotel has its own style, budget and specification. We weave our dimout fabrics for those different needs.

Widest colour range: Dimout

Dimout is our widest range at 41 colours. It darkens the room strongly. At 260 g/m² and 300 cm wide it suits most room types. If matching the hotel's palette comes first, start here.

Strong dimming, matt surface: 99% Dimout

99% Dimout has a smooth, matt surface. It is made at 300 g/m² and 300 cm wide, and its datasheet rates light blocking at 9 out of 10.

Natural look: Linen-Look Dimout

Linen-Look Dimout brings a natural feel with its linen-look texture. At 310 g/m² it is our heaviest dimout and at 320 cm our widest, also rated 9 out of 10 for light blocking.

A different colour on each face: Double-Sided Dimout

Double-Sided Dimout is woven in a different colour on each face, useful for façades that should look different from the room and from the street.

Which one to choose?

Choose Dimout when colour matters, 99% Dimout for a smart matt surface and Linen-Look Dimout for natural texture. All are 100% polyester and can be made flame retardant with certification on request. Ask for samples before you decide; a sample shows best how a fabric looks in the light.
